allright 21 1/2 weeks old and somebody laid their first egg! and another today! i can't believe how exciting this is. it's like the greatest thing in the world. fresh eggs! hooray!

You know the BEST part? It's ALWAYS awesome to collect them! I've had chickens for a few years now, and I just can never get over how much I enjoy collecting eggs!

as for who did it, they ain't sayin ... my bet's on the barred rocks, since it was two days in a row and there's two of 'em and they've always been busy bodies. i have a hunch they were laid in the evening...when do chickens lay, anyway??
