Mitts walked into camp. She didn’t really want to be near the other wolves after what she had done, but there really wasn’t an alternative. She just sat and waited. For what, no one knows.

‘ Fine.’ Mitts still couldn’t see out of it, but it didn’t hurt anymore.

Luna sat down next to Mitts. "So, you're leaving for sure? Have you talked to Shark?"

‘ I’m not talking to Shark. She can’t even follow her own rules, so all my respect for her is long gone. If I want to leave, I’ll just walk out of this camp. Pack life here is getting pretty toxic.’

‘ Well, last night she attacked a loner when Iora wasn’t even bothering her. And I told her she technically couldn’t attack Iora because she wasn’t a lower rank than Shark. Shark is acting like she owns all the wolves in the forest, it’s incredibly rude.’

Luna frowned. "I thought Iora was being rude. And, at least in the old times, if a loner was in wolf territory, they could be attacked because they don't belong there." She sighed and shrugged

‘ Iora really wasn’t doing much. She just left the pack. And besides, Shark had no say in whether Iora left or not, so why would she attack her? And Iora was welcomed by the pack, she belonged here just as much as anyone else.’

Spring wandered to the edge of camp, her stomach was grumbling. I should probably practice my hunting skills again, if I ever want to get good at it! She trotted out into the forest, sniffing for rabbits. (Rabbits sure are going to become extinct!)
