Aurora was taken aback. "I was unconscious for several days after the fire. When I awoke, I was completely blind, but I called out and searched for a long time. I eventually gave up. And I would have come back and searched some more, but I'm paralyzed now."

Aurora added softly, "I thought you were all dead. And, don't forget, I was just about to get my rank. I was still a pup."

“Your paralysed? I’m sorry, I didn’t know. I was alone out there for weeks and I’m scarred both mentally and physically. Your not the only one who has blindness, I was blinded in one eye. I miss my parents and our pack every day and that won’t ever change but I guess I was upset” she paused taking a breath “I was upset because I didn’t know you were blinded and I thought you just had moved on and forgotten about me and my family and our pack”

“I know. I-I didn’t mean to loose it like that”

Aurora smiled gently. "It's okay. I know what it's like to feel abandoned, lost, and forgotten. You're staying with this pack now, right?"
