Mitts looked around camp. She was done cleaning herself and was now just sitting around, bored.

 

[Starburst]

Sapphire stood up and wandered into the forest, not going anywhere in particular. She had gone a good ways when she heard a snarl behind her. Spinning around, she came face to face with a cougar. She felt a searing pain, and then everything went black

Mitts decided to try hunting again. She walked into the woods, sniffing for any prey. She caught a whiff of a wolf’s scent, and decided to follow it. She walked for what seemed like ages, until she saw what looked like a cougar. Mitts slowly walked over to it, expecting a small animal, and saw Sapphire on the ground. Her eyes widened. Sapphire was laying unconscious, hopefully not dead, underneath the cougar. Her eyes widened.

 

[Starburst]

*Sapphire continues to lie there with blood pooling on the leaves around her*

 

[Ihavesomechickens]

Mitts ran over to the cougar, and wrestled it to the ground. She clawed at its eyes with her claws until they it was just a bloody mess, and ran over to Sapphire. ‘ Sapphire! Sapphire! Are you okay? How I going to get you back to camp, think think think.’ Mitts decided to just grab onto Sapphire’s leg and start slowly dragging her body back to camp.

 

[Starburst]

*Sapphire continues to lie there, limp as a noodle*

 

[Ihavesomechickens]

Mitts continued dragging Sapphire back to camp, slowly but surely. She hoped someone would be able to come and help her with taking Sapphire back to camp, as she had only gotten her past a couple trees in what felt like forever.

 

[Starburst]

Luna was on her way to Asia when she saw Mitts dragging something behind her. A deer, perhaps? she kept walking

Mitts noticed Luna over in the distance. ‘ Luna! Luna! Can you help? It’s Sapphire, I think a cougar got her!’

 

[Starburst]

Mitts noticed Luna over in the distance. ‘ Luna! Luna! Can you help? It’s Sapphire, I think a cougar got her!’

Luna sighed. "I was going to Asia, but I guess it can wait."
