Kasper tried to make himself as light as possible, and when he felt he was close enough, he placed a forepaw on the riverbank and pushed himself upward, his back legs churning frantically to find secure ground.
Sunny tugged harder till she felt his feet touch the ground, she continued to pull

(He's going to go to an animal rescue shelter, and I'm planning after Blizzard is healed, a game warden or something will train him a little and then take him to schools and whatnot to teach about conservation and stuff like that. If you want to RP the humans, feel free!)
(Realistically,
A wild wolf --> schools would not work out well. You really can't train an adult male wild wolf...people have tried to train wolf pups and also wolf-dog pups, but it never amounts to anything. Plus, people who teach conservation would know better than to capture a wolf from the wild and try to "tame" it.
But for the sake of the role play, you can do what you want with your character, so go for it!)

(I know what you mean. However, there are several examples where this happened purely by accident. A wolf would be found injured or terribly sick and taken to an animal rescue center. While under treatment and out of sorts, the wolf would begin to trust the people that took care of him. While many rescue centers do their best to avoid this, it still can happen. Trusting the people can lead to the wolf being tame around people, and when they try to release the wolf, it would keep coming back, or have trouble surviving in the wild after becoming dependent on the people's help. The wolf could also have problems that would make it almost impossible to live in the wild. In the end, the wolf may prefer to stay with humans. In such cases, they might live in a habitat at the rescue center, or, if very tame, they may be taken around to schools to tell their stories and what kids can do to help wolves stay safe and whatnot.)
