"Okay, let's get these legs off," Ava muttered. "I have other duties to do, you know."
Keith narrowed his eyes at her, upset at her rushing, "We're beggining the surgery now. It's not like you just pick up a bone-saw and start sawing, it's a very detailed clinical procedure when done properly. You have to cut the right things with the right tools at the right time." Not like you would know, he added in his mind.

Ava narrowed her eyes. "I know, sir. I'm just saying we don't need to be sitting around here. At the vet I used to work at, the tools were at the ready, and everyone was fully experienced and trained."

If you used to work at a vets, why aren't you registered as a vet here? he thought about saying, but instead he figured they'd better get on with the surgery. There would be time for chit-chat latter, and that's if they ever saw eachother again.

"I think this is the best spot to cut for the leg amputation, and it'll be relatively easy to stitch up all that remains of the leg after if we cut here," said Patricia, pointing at a spot on the leg near to the top of the leg. Keith nodded, and began to cut there.

"Err...no, sir. He looks like he just caught a deer or something." Thomas laughed
Keith sighed half out of relief and half out of annoyance, "Just tell me if he looks to be in pain from now on," he said before returning to his work. He sniped just one more time before the cutting of skin was done, as Patricia had been hard at work whilst he dealt with the boy's observations.
