Blizzard stared at her. He could tell that she was saying it was going to be alright from the tone of her voice, but Rose didn't understand. This meant he'd never see his mate again! Things were not alright. But he licked her hand gently to show his gratitude for her attempts to comfort him. (Good night. )

The dog-catcher began walking toward the back of their van, another dogcatcher opened it. A wolf in the city, that's a sight to behold, and a danger to the public! they thought

The settlers pulled a long shiny stick, immediately the snake tightened even more. Spring put her bottom on the ground, trying to resist the pull.

She couldn't get any air, but tried to hold her ground as the settler pulled its stick closer to the thunderbear. Spring let out half a howl, choking and coughing with the snake.

The lumpy asphalt ripped into her already sore pads as the snake dragged her closer to the gaping jaws of the thunderbear.

Spring was pulled off her paws by the snake, and something grabbed her from behind. The settler! She thrashed, but was pulled into the mouth of the bear. "Help!" She barked. Spring twisted back and forth, trying to bite one of the settlers, but they slipped something heavy over her muzzle. I can't open my mouth! I can't bite!!! Spring tried to scratch the thing off, but in that moment the settlers slipped the loop off of her neck, and shut the car door.
I'm in its mouth... I'm going to die! Maybe this happened to Iora, too. "iir...a" Spring tried, but the thing on her snout was impossible to talk through.

(This sort of makes me mad at people who catch animals like that. Not only animal catchers, but people who set paw traps in the wild, etc. Look at it from the animals point of view!!)
