"How did you know?" Shark asked her, very confused.
 
"Oh, sorry." Shark replied, "Listen."

Shark turned back to the pack, "Well, the announcement I was going to make was the exact thing Sapphire just asked me: To not let anyone attack her.

"Everyone MUST follow this rule!" She barked, "If someone is caught breaking it, they will be in trouble......in huge trouble!" She waited for a moment, then continued, "Sapphire has just gone through something that almost cost her her life...... she needs no more trouble." She looked around at everyone to make sure the understood....."Okay?"

Raptor dipped his head to the alpha, showing his approval and respect for her decision.

Mitts looked over at the other wolves. She was grateful no one would be able to hurt Sapphire as she recovered.

Sparrow turned her head away. To Falcon, she said, "It's too stuffy in here. I need to get outside." She struggled to her paws. As she limped outside, she heard Shark's announcement. She blinked and flicked an ear.
