Sapphire blinked her eyes. Sunlight streamed into Thunder's den and she jumped up. What time is it?! She thought, and quickly ran outside to find someone to talk to

"Exploring," he replied simply, not wishing to get into the details of the situation. He tried to change the subject. "But I'm back. Wanna play?"

Her brother's secrecy made Dove think that he had gotten into trouble, but she decided that it was of no importance to her, and she was eager to play after her boring morning, "Sure!" she yipped, jumping ontop of Kasper.

Dove glanced at her mother to tell her she understood, but she only saw a tail disapearing out of the den. This also momentarily distracted her.

Kasper immediately went into his play-fighting mode, baring his puppy teeth and growling as he forced Dove's paws off of his back and in turn jumped on top of her.
