Blizzard watched the cave where the wolf was kept. When he was sure no one was around, he ripped off a small morsel of food and hid it in his den. He then went to the stream, where he got more water, and, grabbing the meat, he pushed both through the branches, doing his best to not let himself be seen by the wolf. If she does figure out it was me, he thought, then I'll just be teaching her that what she says doesn't bother me. Besides, she surely wouldn't tell Osprey again, right? he glanced around one more time to make sure no one had seen him, and then went back to the cave. You'll have to try harder to get me to stop, Osprey, he thought

Umber, exhausted after helping get Aurora back to the rest of the pack, grabbed some meat and collapsed by the food pile.
