Sapphire spotted Mitts emerging from the forest and ran up to say hi. She skidded to a stop when she saw Mitts carrying something. "Mitts?" She asked. "What is that?"

Mitts quickly threw her collar under a pile of fur, but it was obvious it was there. ‘ Uh, nothing. I wasn’t carrying anything why would you think that?’ Mitts responded nervously.

Sapphire cocked her head, confused why Mitts would pretend to not have been carrying something. "What was it?" She asked. "It looked like a loop, or something I once saw on the settlers' dogs."

‘ Oh that? That’s nothing silly you need to sleep obviously. You must be going insane.’ Mitts scouted over to block the collars hiding spot from view.

Sapphire frowned. "You're the one who's acting silly, Mitts! Why are you hiding that loopy thing from me?" She hoped that Mitts wouldn't get mad at her.
 
Umber noticed Sapphire and Mitts taking and padded over. She had noticed Mitts acting weird lately, and wondered if it had to do with that. I hope Mitts is doing okay thought Umber, remembering how Mitts had stood up for her when she first met the pack.
