Aurora sat in Marsh's den. She was getting a little hungry, but she obviously couldn't walk, so she sat patiently, waiting for Marsh to come back
 
While marsh was out, he grabbed some meat for Aurora. He approached the den "hey aurora, its me, I brought food"

“Huh, vet, I wonder what that is?” Said Umber. “How far away are they? I saw some settlers once, little ones. They left some meat out for me. I like them. The bigs ones are scary though, they yelled at me.”

‘ They aren’t too far away. There is only one settler that takes care of me. They give me food after they eat and they have a bowl of something for me that tastes very good. I can take you there tonight if you want.’
 
Umber looked closer at Mitts. She started to notice things about her, little things, like how small her feet were compared to the other wolves, and how her tail had more of a curve.

“Yeah!” Umber said excitedly, “I want to see what they look like! Just not too close.”
