Crow spotted Marsh and run up to him. “I led three away from camp, and it sounded like the other wolves took care of a couple more. I know a nice place by the river where we can wait a couple hours to be sure that they are gone.” he explained

Aurora contained her sigh. She knew that she was a burden. Marsh must be exhausted from racing around with her on his back. Maybe I can fall into the river again, she thought cheerfully.

Crow led them done stream to a large, smooth stone by a small pool that the river fed into.
“I come here to relax sometimes,” he explained, “that rock is a great place to lay in the sun.”he said with an awkward chuckle
