Swift woke up, gasping. She heard strange noises coming from the outside of the cave... And the smell confirmed it. Settlers..No! She stood up. She felt better, but woozy. ”Anyone?” She whispered.

Sapphire heard a faint voice in a den nearby. "Who is that?" She wondered. She carefully walked around, keeping out of sight of the settlers.

Swift recognized Sapphire‘s voice. “It’s me, Swift. What‘s going on? Where is everyone?”

Sapphire peeked into the den. She quickly slipped in. "Settlers. There are many settlers in the area, and they are invading. Most of the wolves ran, but I stayed here to protect the pups...and you, I guess. Are you alright?" She asked

“Because....I-I thought of you then I heard the hunters and knew I had to help. But it’s crazy there is no way you and I could ever be together because I’m a loner and your part of a pack” Iora sighed
