Brutus was bored and decided to check out the new Omega. He stalked over to her and Lottie, scowling.

Sapphire smiled back and then stared at the humans staring at them. "It's been a while since I was here." She sighed. "No offense, but I miss my old pack. I left my mate back there as well."

“A scrawny little omega like you had a mate?” Brutus said rolling his eyes, “Don’t make me laugh. I remember you from before, when we were pups,” he started to slowly circle Sapphire.
“You were pathetic then too, just like your mother. And if you don’t watch yourself, you’ll end up like her. Dead.” he said with a low growl.

Sapphire growled slightly, but stopped. "My mother wasn't pathetic. She died saving the others, including your siblings, remember? But you didn't take care of them, and now they're both dead."
