Glacier let out a soft laugh. "I don't blame you. I'm hoping to get out of this place as well. But have you considered the idea that the Alpha might try to join, or follow us and terrorize the new pack?"

"That is a good point," Lana remarked, becoming serious. "She said before that she wanted the real members of the Mountain Pack to leave and stop creating 'disharmony,' so perhaps if we can avoid giving her the idea that we are leaving too, she will not try to follow."

"The question is, how can we do that, and when? Well, obviously at night, but how will we keep her, and maybe Brutus too, from knowing?"

Glacier smiled. "I hope so. But she'll notice we left, and then she's sure to know what happened. But hopefully, she won't find where our pack is. I have a plan. I know how to open up the door, and we can escape that way, then we'll find our way out from there."
