"Wow," said Dove staring at the grey stretch of bareness that did, indeed, smell strange now that she sniffed it and then backed off onto the very light brown path, "and will they vere off the stiny path to catch me?"

"They can, occasionally, but they usually turn into fire if they do. I guess they get struck by lighting."

Luna looked over at him. "It's okay, Crow. I'm here. Are you okay?" She said soothingly.

”Are you okay?”He asked her. He was still trying to wake up all the way. “Your shoulder, how’s you shoulder?” He took a hesitant step, stumbled, and sat down.

"I'm fine, don't worry about me." Luna lied. In truth, she felt like venom was running through her veins, and she could barely move her shoulder without having to stop from the pain

"That's awful strange," said Dove, "is it always raining when it happens? I guess if I was a thunderbeast, I wouldn't want to go off the stiny path if it was the only thing protecting me from getting struck by lightning, or catching on fire anyways."

"They do seem awful dumb," said Dove, "and also, they don't eat the settlers that are right inside their bellys, they always spit them out! That's awful dumb to pass up free food like that. They must be quite picky."
