The herd of Cattle had fled and the pack was left with about 8 carcasses laying in the opening the stampede had created. Mitts started dragging one of the cows back to the food pile.

Sapphire trotted through the trees, wincing with every step. She had just run into a particularly angry wolf, and the wounds on her ears and back were deep. Pausing on a hill, she looked down at the forest below and was shocked to see the wolves surrounded by the bodies of cows. Whatever happened here? She thought. Whatever the case, the pack's bellies are sure to be full this coming week. Happily, she started down the hill, trying to ignore the aches and pains
(By the way, does anyone want to make a character who likes to attack the Omegas? Because no one seems interested.)

Mitts saw Sapphire coming down to greet them, and noticed her limping slightly. She shrugged it off and continued dragging the corpse back to pack.

Sapphire trudged over to Mitts and rolled onto her back, exposing her belly, even though she knew that Mitts probably wouldn't attack her. Then she asked, "Would you like me to help with carrying over the bodies?"

Mitts had noticed the limp and decided that Sapphire was in no condition to drag a cow back all that way. ‘ I got it Sapphire. You should go back and rest.’

Sapphire cast her eyes to the ground and slowly shook her head. "No, I'm fine. I'm happy to help. Trust me. I'm used to this."
