Sapphire glanced back gratefully at Marsh. She continued to stand at the entrance, not budging an inch.

"Who are you telling me what to do?" Flame rolled her eyes. Seeing Aurora, she came closer. "I'll help." She smiled slyly.

Sapphire glanced at Marsh. She didn't want Flame's help, but that was Marsh's decision

Sapphire silently thought, A Beta is telling you what to do, foolish one. She stared at Flame dead in the eye a touch of hatred passing over her eyes. Then she looked back down

"Excuse me! I am a beta, and you are to listen to me" Marsh snarled, fed up with the recent disrespect from the pack

Sapphire silently nodded with satisfaction, hoping that Marsh had put this wolf in her place.

Tundra looked on from afar. He knew that he was in for some trouble. But Marsh deserved it, he thought bitterly

Ravens ears flattened, but then she remembered another detail "and what about mom and dad?" She said louder, her voice almost cracking

Spring paused, mid-step. All the fur along her back rose.... "Mom and Dad are DEAD!" Spring snarled. And she whirled around, her amber eyes burning with fiery rage, "...and it was YOUR fault!" She spat! ...and Spring lunged, her paws slammed Raven's side, knocking her over (but not hurting her), and she skidded to a stop, turning to face her again, anger still boiling.
