Aurora heard a commotion as another wolf came in. She tensed up. Well, she thought, at least they will end my miserable life

“Hey! A little backup please?” Wild barked at her group “they are in here.” She spotted the smaller wolf, the blind one who was quite obviously not a threat. “Blind wolf get out now before I kill everyone in this cave” Wild snarled turning her attention back to the wolves

Sapphire went over to stand next to Thunder. "You need to stay safe in your den, that way the wolves can't see you and kill you," She said gently

Swift pricked her ears at the commotion. “Do you know what’s happening? Should we go help?”

“Actually never mind. You stay there and I will kill the others” Wild said crouching into a hunting position

"Hmmmmm...okay," whimpered Kasper. He wanted to see the action, but he liked Sapphire and Thunder and wanted them to get a good impression from him.

Aurora heard the wolf's command and scrambled to her feet, running in the wrong direction and banging into the back of the den. She turned and pushed herself out of the den, running to where she hoped was camp.

Mitts continued to sit on the deer. She knew she probably wasn’t being much help but the injured wolves had to be able to eat after the fight.

"Good." Thunder said to Kasper then turned to sapphire "can you guard the pups?" He asked her.

Aurora continued to run, not knowing that she was heading towards a churning river
