Kasper decided to try a new tactic. Running straight after Blizzard wasn't going to work. He stopped briefly and calculated a route that Blizzard wouldn't be able to see from his current position. Let's see if I can cut him off and corner him at the big boulder, he decided.
Blizzard continued to run. Maybe I should slow down so that he can catch up again, he thought
Marsh once again snuggled closer to her, slightly hesitating to see how she would react
Aurora didn't seem to mind. "Were you always in a high rank?" She asked
“I’m an upper mid ranker!!!!” She shrieked
Kasper veered off Blizzard's trail and began following his new plan. He ran along a dense area of trees, such that he could see Blizzard's light coat but Blizzard (hopefully, he thought) couldn't see him.
"Wow! I'm so excited for you, Wild!" Luna exclaimed.
Blizzard paused at a boulder, glancing back. Where is Kasper? He wondered
“Thanks” Wild grinned
"Well, my parents were both of lower ranks, but once I got out of pup stage I slowly climbed my way to the top" Marsh said, then lightly chuckled "its cause I'm a big strong wolf with good looks" He remarked sarcastically
