Sapphire tried to hide her smile. She knew the answer, but it wasn't her place to tell her. Besides, she thought, I'm an omega. Does anyone trust me?

“Well,” Umber sighed, “I’m off to bed, I’m beat, today sure was full of excitement. Good night.”
Umber found a comfy spot, curled up, and went to sleep.

Aurora sensed that he felt rejected. "Oh, I don't mean it like that!" She exclaimed. "I, well, I like you, I just think you shouldn't like me. I'm not worth the burden."

"Well, anyway, I'm going to sleep," Aurora said, and curled up into a tight ball, falling fast asleep

Back in the pup den, Kasper was preparing for bed as well. He lay down, curled his tail neatly around his paws, and soon fell fast asleep.

Wild yawned deciding she would sleep outside under the stars tonight. She curled up glancing at her surroundings once more before settling down into the warmth of her fur.
She dreamed of a mate, someone she could trust to dive into that river after her. Wolves with mates were lucky, they had found that one wolf who made them feel complete and whole. But no, she mustn’t dwell on things out of her control, she had to focus on hunting and moving up the ranks of the wolf pack.
