Luna awoke and looked around. Where is everyone? she thought. She yawned and stretched an then padded over to the meat pile to get some breakfast

Luna looked around. At this time of day, all the wolves were always up. Then she remembered the fight yesterday and that everyone must be exhausted. She started to the forest to get some water.

Kasper stepped out of the pup den, looking and feeling sleepy. He had heard some commotion from his sisters, but they seemed to be back in the den now. Say, but wouldn't it be exciting to go exploring the territory--all by himself?

Luna gulped some water from the stream, and noticing some herbs, she began to gather some as well.

Sapphire opened one eye and noticed Kasper peeking out of his den, and she was about to say something, but then fell right back to sleep
