Sapphire grabbed an end and pulled it over Mitts's neck. "There. Now the settlers won't attack you for not wearing your collar." She smiled with satisfaction.

Umber glanced nervously around. Luckily camp seemed to be deserted.

Mitts shoke herself and walked over to the edge of the camp.

Sapphire smiled sweetly. "Oh, I decided to play dress-up with Mitts and pretend that she's a dog."
