Sapphire walked forward and stared up at the Settlers, praying that they wouldn't use their thunder sticks on her, and opened her eyes wide, whining a little as well

Umber paused, watching Sapphire from the doorway. She wanted to see how the settlers reacted before she tried begging

“I just thought that being a loner yourself you’d be willing to help me” Iora replied sharply

"Mmmm... I don't think so" Raven replied. "You've never done anything for me... so why would I do something like this for you?"

Umber noticed a forgotten scrap of food beneath one of the chairs. She hesitantly took a step forward and ate it quickly. It was delicious, she’d never eaten anything that good before!

Sapphire continued to beg, staring up at the table. She looked at Mitts. "They haven't given me anything," She whined

‘ I’ll help you.’ Mitts jumped up onto the settlers lap and begged some more. The settler was so surprised they dropped some food onto the floor. ‘ There you go Sapphire.’

Mitts was growing tired. The other wolves could find a place to sleep for the night. She went into another room and layed down on the couch. She soon fell asleep.
