(OK, 1 is she's actually dead, 2 and 3 and 4 is she appears to be dead, 5 is she's unconscious for a while but she still has a heart beat and breathes, 6 is she will regain consciousness shortly and be perfectly fine)

Sapphire heard Dove's cries. "Dove!" She cried, and raced into the forest
(Do wolves even bury others though? I have a feeling Blizzard wouldn't believe it and just keep hoping)
(They don’t have to. They assume she is dead and leave her body then she can wake up and find Wild asked Blizzard to be her mate or something)
Dove heard Sapphire's far off yell, and she began to howl, "Sapphire! I'm over here!" as the settlers started walking. They made menacing noises at eachother, and then at her. One of them picked up a large black and grey stick and pointed it at her. She whimpered, then boom! Dove closed her eyes, her ears recoiling at the deafening noise, but after a minute she opened them again, she was alright. She wasn't dead, there was no pain. She was still in a strange partially see-through object being caried through the forest, the settler heaved the large stick onto his shoulder, and said some more menacing settler words. Dove whimpered again, still in shock. (They shot at her as a warning to stay quiet, which doesn't make much sense, but these people aren't the brightest bulbs in the box, and hey it works XD)
