Spring's stomach rumbled, she stared longingly at the food pile. She didn't remember seeing anybody eat before her... Spring was still figuring out how everything worked in this pack.
After a bit of debating, she decided not to risk it, and went into the forest hoping she would be able to catch something. The deer Blizzard and her had caught gave her a bit of confidence. I can do this!
 
She scented the air, looking for any traces of rabbit.
After a bit of searching she finally spotted a snow white rabbit who seemed completely involved in eating some grass. She stalked nearer, tensing her muscles to spring (lol). It's head shot up, suddenly alert. Spring lunged, the rabbit lept... and the chase was on.
 
Faster and faster they ran. Spring stretched her sore muscles farther and farther. She was drawing closer... the rabbit switched directions, sending Spring tumbling into a bush. Arrrrrrrg, Blizzard made it look so easy!
She snorted, and continued chasing.
Again she was getting closer, almost close enough to grab... there! She snapped her jaws shut on the rabbit, killing it fast.
She ate it fast, and hurried back to camp, tounge lolling.

Congratulations Spring, She thought to herself happily, first rabbit in almost a year... no more grubs and beatles!
