Shark kept going. "Come on!" She kicked a rock. "Owwwww!" She howled. "Don't worry, I'm fine." She called. "Now hurry!" Sometimes the pack was a little too slow.
 
Sapphire glanced back. She was already almost halfway across. "Come on!" She called. "We need to get back to camp." Suddenly a thought hit her. "Shark...where's Luna and Crow?"
 
Lana paddled swiftly, enjoying the feeling of the water. She had never swam in such a large body of water before, but the movement was not too different from swimming in the small river in the zoo.

Glacier swam up next to her. "What rank do you think you'll be in when we get to the new rank?" he asked

"Ummmmm....." Shark stopped paddling and began to sink. "Oops!" She kept paddling but turned around. "I don't know." She replied. "Weren't they with Mitts when she came? Ohh, that's right. She said they got shot with weird dart like things. What should we do?"

"Oh, why...I'm not sure." Lana hadn't considered that before. "I acted in a rather submissive manner towards Shark, so...probably lower mid-ranker."
