Sapphire's stomach growled. She sat patiently, watching the herd. "If we don't go in for the kill soon, I may just have to kill one myself," She said to to herself
 
(Okay, she's going for it.)
Sapphire took a deep breath and then ran forward, up behind the herd, causing them to run. She then chose the oldest deer and put all her energy into running forward to catch it. Springing into the air, she seized it by the throat, sinking her teeth in and bringing it down. She breathed heavily, gasping for air. After she caught her breath, she dragged it back to camp. "Who wants some deer?" She called. "I think the others are catching another one, but in the meantime, I brought everyone this." She dropped the deer near the food pile
 
"Thank you Sapphire!" The alpha actually took the time to thank the omega. "I'm practically starved! And so is Mitts." But before digging in, she decided something: "Just for today, I'm going to break traditional pack rules and let everyone who wants eat at the same time." Then, yes, then, she dug in. (lol)

Sapphire smiled, happy to provide for her pack. "Don't thank me. This is a small repayment for freeing me from that...place." She shuddered
