Flame walked away to get another drink of water. "I hate pups! They are so shy and good for nothing and-" She stopped. "But wait, I was a pup once too. And nobody can help that. We all need to be pups to become adult wolves."

Mitts yawned, sitting down near the center of camp. It had been a long day, and she was ready to go to bed. She glanced around, bored. She started thinking about Flame again, and shook her head violently around, try to shake the thoughts out. I’m just delusional. Flame doesn’t like me back, what am I thinking?! Flame will probably just find a nice wolf and become mates with them. I’m just too, well, different for anyone to like me, let alone want to be mates with me.
