Kasper was not one to take remarks like this lightly, and he determined to prove his sister, Dove, mistaken. Baring his teeth, he crouched down and suddenly splashed into the middle of the shallow stream.
Brrr! It was cold, but Kasper had thick fur. "I'll get used to it in a moment," he concluded. "See, I can step in the water just fine!" he barked to his sibling, splashing water in her direction.

"Hey!" shouted Dove, annoyed at getting splashed while trying to drink, and jumping back to try and avoid the brunt of it, "that's cold!"
 
"Fine," Kasper frowned, intent on finding a fish. He began stepping slowly upstream, trying to avoid slipping on the smooth, round stones that covered the riverbed. Where were the fish?

(probably scared away by the pups antics, lol, anyways, I have to go to bed :( will be on tommorow, probably sometime in the afternoon and maybe in the morning, but on from around 10 to 11 Eastern Time if nothing else) Dove sighed at her brother intensly searching for fish, and decided to go back to camp, "I don't want to get wet and cold searching for creatures I probably won't find and won't know what to do with even if I find them," she said, "so I'm going back to camp, join me if you want. Maybe we can play tag if you do."
 
Kasper remained obstinate. "I have to at least see where this stream begins," he protested. "I didn't step into this water for nothing."

(I'm only on for a few minutes)
Dove sighed, do you really want to go back to camp alone and sit around bored the rest of the day, while your brother has an adventure, however stupid it's origins and unpleasant it's workings? "On second thought, that sounds like an adventure. But don't expect me to catch any fish!"
