"Alrighty!" barked Kasper, prancing round and around the other two wolf pups with enthusiasm. The entire river ordeal was quickly forgotten, as Kasper, stubborn as he sometimes seemed, was actually quite good at living in the present moment. "So Sunny 'n I hide, and Dove, you'll try and find us. Start counting whenever you're ready, and don't look!"
Kasper managed to half-crawl, half-climb up a large rock, and glanced around the forest from his vantage point to plan ahead. Where should I hide?
(I'll be back in 2 hours.)

"OK," said Dove, turning around, "I guess I'll just count to....60," it was as high as she could count.
 
The wolves heard a rustle in a nearby bush. The pups started prancing around. Spring looked around and calmed the pups for it was late at night. Spring curled up and went to sleep.................... The pups got out of their den and started playing they chased eachother around and eventually wandered away from the camp. Then suddenly a crack sounded as a pup got snatched into a bear trap! Then hunters swarmed around and started blasting their 12 gauge shotties.
