"Shush. You're fine." Ava smiled at the wolf kindly. She walked at a slow and steady pace, trying to show that she wouldn't hurt the wolf. "You're right next door to another wolf. If you're good, I might let you see him...maybe even play with him!"

Spring showed her teeth and growled louder. "NO snakes, NO grabbing, NO NOTHING! GO AWAY!" Spring snarled.

"Feisty, are you? I think you're my favorite wolf I ever met...I'll have to think of a name for you. Now..." Ava pulled out a piece of meat. "Would you like some?" She asked soothingly
 
Mitts noticed a Thunderbear going down the street, and decided to fight it. She ran over to it and started clawing at the paint. Two settlers came out of it, one with a thunder stick. He instantly shot her. What was I thinking... Mitts thought as the world went black.

( It wasn’t an actual bullet, but a tranquilliser dart. She ain’t dead.)
