Keith was surprised to see that the wolf was the very wolf whose legs he'd cut off. A pair of prosthetic legs lay near the wolf. "So why does he need prosthetics again? There are some right here. Are we supposed to put them on?" He looked where Samantha had stood just minutes before, but she was gone.

"So what do you think about these?" Keith asked Robert. (They are apparently not good enough to run and jump with and stuff seeing as they need replaced, probably cheap quality)

"Oh, those are the old ones" Robert said, "These are the new ones we're supposed to put on," he said as he pulled out another pair from a cabinet. "They're made of titanium. In my practice I've found they last much longer."

(I didn't think they had another pair just lying around, but we'll roll with it) "They look to be adjustable," said Keith, "we'll have to adjust them after we put them on."

Rose looked at them, "Can he run in those? A wild wolf has to be able to run." (I edited my post lol, Rose is more likely to ask that)

"So what's the deal with Sam?" Robert continued as he fitted one of the new prosthetic legs to one of the beautiful wolf's "stumps;" "She seemed awful touchy."

(I didn't think they had another pair just lying around, but we'll roll with it) "They look to be adjustable," said Keith, "we'll have to adjust them after we put them on. Can he run in those? A wild wolf has to be able to run."

"Absolutely" Robert said after the initial fitting. "Can you tighten it down a bit more?"

"If they're not tight enough they'll just fall out of place and be useless when running, so I want to be sure they fit tight before we close," Robert added. Suddenly the door to the room swung open. There Samantha stood, "So you cowboys think you can handle this all on your own?" she said with mischief in her voice. "I doubt it; move over and make room for me."
