"Sure!" Kasper was delighted at the opportunity to do something this time. He felt like he might finally be contributing something to the pack rather than depending upon them for everything. "So we're searching for...elk? Or was it moose?"

"What's that? Whatever we can find? Okay, Alpha!" Kasper put his nose to the ground and bounded forward, scanning the forest floor for a trace of game. Nothing yet. His tail pointing straight up, he led the way through the trees, glancing back often to check in with the "big wolves."

Sapphire trotted around in the enclosure. “We need to escape,” she muttered. Sapphire glanced up when she saw a settler leading Blizzard into the enclosure. He had rather funny legs, but he seemed to be able to walk on them alright
