I did both...but when you grow up doing Irish Dance and competing, and then you try ballet, your ballet instructor stares at you like you're from space.

Also, trust me...it's not what I ever thought of as fun. But my Instructor terrified me so much that I feared what he'd do if I dropped. So I kept at it. Forever. And am still doing it. Turns out, he almost got promoted to be the head person or something of Irish Dance in the USA,but turned it down because he like teaching more. and he travels around the world teaching, so he just got super annoyed with how terrible our Irish Dance looked in comparison to the others he taught. *Sigh*
