GLW with a single comb?

Single combs are recessive, so they can hide for sometimes several generations before a hen and a rooster with a hidden single comb gene pairs up and produces a single combed chick. It's a common fault in hatchery wyandottes but it does crop up from time to time in breeder stock too.

I think her and another similar looking one are blue laced red wyandotte's, rural king sold them as GLW.

I also got a few big black ones instead of barred rocks from RK.
That’s super neat! But they’re Wyandottes, and that’s what matters!😉🙂🙃🙂
I have been looking for BLRWs all over.
They had a large selection and inept employees so its not surprising.

I like them anyway, especially the big black girls.View attachment 4236241
Are the big girls possibly BSL?
I have Austrilorps and Jersey Giants, but they look different!
