Gnarly feathering in or something wrong?

Hey all, this chick is 4/5 weeks old and her feathers are so weird compared to all the other ones we've raised this spring. Is this a normal pattern for feathering in? Or does she have some sort of disease or deficiency?

Neck (see the feathers growing in all thick?)

Under wing (I see feathers growing in here)

Those are pin feathers. Young chicks molt a few times before laying. Sometimes if the brooder or outside temperatures are warm, they will grow their feathers slowly and you will see their pin feathers.

Perfect. I was pretty sure that's what was going on, but hers just seem bigger in circumference and more sparse than the other EEs we have. Thanks!

My cochin had the large pin feathers compared to the rest of my chicks.
