-nothing like a clothesline for drying clothes (unless you aren't permitted to have one in the neighborhood).

-can have chickens....but not a clothesline - go figure! (I happily hang laundry, between hanging flower baskets, from the covered porch....it's technically not a line!)

-definitely a fan of living simple and earth-friendly!

We got one of those "tree" type lines...and I love it! Absolutely nothing like slipping into bed with fresh, line-dried sheets on it. We also compost everything we possibly can and recycle everything that can be done. Household of 4 adults, and we only produce about 1 bag of actual "garbage" per week.

Also like to re-purpose things...like a feed scoop from a plastic milk or juice jug...great for the planet and easier on the pocketbook. When I got the chance to work from home, I jumped on it...waaaay less driving therefore, way less gas. Trying to convince hubby that we should trade in the gas mower for a push mower, but haven't got him convinced yet.

We found a source locally for rabbit poo, which is the best fertilizer around...not "hot" so you can spread it right on your plants. I put in some food plants for us and also for the chickens so that enriches the soil and saves a little bit on feed.
