Yes. We have lace monitors. One killed a wallaby Joey I had released back into the wild not long ago

I was devastated. It was still having a bottle morning and night. Nature is so cruel sometimes. A snake ate one of my brushtail possums I had released earlier in the year too and squashed its baby in the process.

I am so sorry about your bird. Try to keep the area clean and dry as possible. Bite wounds are the worst to treat since bacteria can get so deep into the skin and be sealed off so quick. If you can get her on some antibiotics, this would probably help greatly, along with any cleanings and topical meds you can put on it. Keep her separated, in a very clean area, on a good diet and keep her warm.
