She's less than two monthes I will try and get a picture but she's had put on a LOT of weight compared to before .... might be normal but I thought I would ask to make sure

That goat does not look abnormally large to me. From the top you cannot even tell if she is pregnant. A healthy goat has a good sized abdomen because of the size of the rumen.

I know I may be a little late, but It is never a good idea to try and assert dominance over a mature buck, no matter the breed. It will have the opposite effect you desire, and only escalate the behavior. They will see you not as a dominant herd keeper but rather a fellow goat challenging their authority.

If you try to challenge a buck and something goes wrong, you could get seriously injured.

I guess I had never thought of this, and the animal being a buck isn't good either if you are doing it. I had heard about people doing it before and I went and researched online and no one mentioned that it couldn't be safe, but now that I think of it, it isn't safe with a buck. Thank you for mentioning this!

Just a comment. In the 40 years I bred dairy goats, with one exception, I never had a buck challenge me. The exception was one not-too-bright youngster and he never did it again. Personally, I wouldn't keep a buck that was dangerous to be around. It just isn't worth it. If he was valuable, I would have him collected and then in the freezer he would go. But that's me.
