Goat covexin question

I have three Nigerian does who have never had the covexin vaccination or any CDT vaccination before. The label directions are for sheep and say 5ml initially followed by a 2 ml booster. Is this correct? I was looking at some other goat sites and one of them recommend 4ml initially and then 2ml and another said 2ml initially followed in 2 weeks by another 2ml and then another 2ml in 2 weeks followed by 2ml in 6 months.
Does anyone have any experience with this? Should I just follow the sheep directions?
Thanks!

When I used Covexin 8, I gave 5 ml SQ, followed with 2ml 6 weeks later, and then once a year with 2 ml.

I always tried to do the annual shots in January, close to the first of the month. It was easier to remember to do it after the first of the year.

Now I just use the Bar-Vac CD/T with tetanus, since I found it locally. I give 2 ml SQ, followed by 2 ml 4 weeks later, then 2 ml once a year.

I never had any problems with the covexin, I just had to order it. Now my TSC carries the CD/T so I use it.
Hope this helps.

Jean
