Goat eating wood.....

Is the wood pine? Goats love pine needles and the bark. If you don't have pine trees check with your neighbors to see if you can get some pine branches, with the needles on it, for her.
Goats are curious, and will taste just about anything. But, you already know that.

You might want to give her some mineral supplements. Cribbing can sometimes be a sign of a nutrient deficiency. I've heard brown sea kelp is a great supplement, but other folks might have something else to recommend.

What about giving them an old Christmas tree? Do they like that? Poor trees are piling up at the collection sites.

Most Christmas trees have been treated with fire repellent (and possible other things) so I don't want my animals eating those chemicals.

Some people say the chemicals wear off after a couple of weeks or if the tree has been left out in the weather. It's just not worth the risk to me so I don't feed them to mine; I'd rather error on the side of caution.
