when I feed my girls ( and boy) this morning one of my does did not want her grain which she usually of course rushes to. She did eat a little hay and drank a little water then layed back in the shelter. I let them out of their run and she is roaming around now but noticed her stool isn't it's normal pellets but like soft dog stool. I deworm them all in late fall. I may deworm again.Could it be something else? She was fine yesterday and the other 3 are fine. She's about 1 1/2 years old boer, Nubian, kiko mix

Hello have you checked her teeth to make sure she doesn't have any issues there putting her off?I have a horse and I have had his teeth checked as he was off his food and they did need looking at they were filed an he was fine. She could also just be a bit off like we can be I wouldn't panic just yet wait a few days and see how she is

Out daytime temperatures here in central va have been in the 50's but 2 weeks ago we had record breaking lows and below freezing temps for over 2 weeks straight but lowest it got was -5 but everything was fine then. There shelter is pretty cozy when they are huddled up with each other

We use heart guard dewormer. We go by dosage labeled and always recheck their weight first. We've used that for years on all our girls

This is what we do for this situation. Instructions from our Vet.
For worming: Cydecton sheep drench. Double the dose on the label for goats we were told.
For Coccid.: Liquid CORID.. 3oz Corid into 16oz water. Then drench 30cc per 100lbs of goat. 5 day course.
Electrolytes.
Nutridrench.

Can you take a pic of the stool and back half of the doe?

I'm trying not to get too concerned. She is out and about. But her tail is down. I just worry about this particular doe. She had a rough start with her health first few weeks of life. It is always been kind A runt. She is now healthy good but lost her mama she was if you days old and The other baby was a stillborn. My other toe had two kids at that same time and at first she was shunned and I had to separate. But now that she's bigger they are all happy with each other But being bottle fed she is of course super super sweet
