...read Storey's Guide to Raising Dairy Goats. There's also one for raising meat goats although this book talks a bit about slaughtering (Mine are strictly dairy goats though).

WONDERFUL source of info that all goat owners should know.

I've wanted to get that book for a while! Its good to hear from someone that has read it! Thank you! We have the meat goats book and it is wonderful and so is the chicken book! The storey veggie questions book - don't get it! Its new and was already at the clearance book site. I know why now!
