Goat trouble UPDATE'

I will bet my life on it you have a coccidiosis problem.

Oxytetracycline wont clear up cocci, but it will do everything else basically.

Cocci needs a sulfa drug - I personally like using injectable Trimethoprimsulfa - as a combined antibiotic and sulfa drug. But you can use oral Sulmet too.

I was thinking i cut everything in the barnyard down all the grass im thinking it is the chicken food i feed the goats their food and throw the chickens their food and if the little goats don't get to the goat food they eat the chicken food off the ground could it be this

from what i understand chicken feed will kill them. Why

yep, that would be your problem. get them away from the chicken feed immediately. Also, give them plenty of probiotics/probios because their gut is gonna be messed up pretty badly from the chicken feed, it will take them a while to recover.

haha Ya i figured out a good way to feed them both sep but i don't think that was her only problem she was 3 months old and was SOOO small i just got a 3 month old wether he is halfway to my buck in size the one that died only felt like 3 pounds to pick up so i think she had more problems
