Goats are great and easy to keep. Just make sure that you have a roomy secure area for them. They are curious animals. Our goats have had their heads stuck a few times in places around the gates and feeding trough (we fixed those spots). They are also lucky to have alot of space and heated sleeping quarters (spoiled).
Your alpine wether sounds just like my baby Billy. He has no manners at all. He has to be part of everything I'm doing. He used to scream at me all the time when I'd leave him un attended. Hes better now that he has friends. He still would rather lay on my lap or lean on me than be a goat. lol
They act and look alike! Mine has a lot of brown on him, you can't really tell in the is pic though.
