Goats and Chickens

I would just make sure that they can have a safe dry warm/cool place during the seasons. You can put the goats in different "stalls" so they don't mingle when you don't need them to.

My biggest hold up is lack of shelter and fencing. I'm assuming the male would be fine with the female until she delivered but I'd want a separate space for him before we get them just to be prepared.

As long as he's not aggressive he can be with her but if he head butted her side even once he could kill the baby.

Hello! I saw this thread and wanted to ask, is it possible to keep a goat or two in the same enclosure as chickens? I would love to get a few goats for milk, but we don't enough room in the yard to create a seperate enclosure from our chooks. (We have 9 chicks and a gosling.) I understand that the chicken feed would have to be out of reach from the goats, but is there any other complications with keeping them together?
