Goats and ticks?

Recommendations for keeping ticks off of goats? Someone told me python dust.

Python Dust should work alright? Just go to your local Tractor Supply and look for the dust can. (I don't recall what the label says, but I think it should rid of ticks). My goats occasionally get lice, and the dust kills them almost instantly.

I never bothered with ticks on my goats. My chickens and ducks pick at the goats at times, so they may be picking off ticks.
