Goats for Sale??!!

The only time my goats have gotten out of the fence since we built a study, regular fence, was when my donkey learned how to undo the chain on the gate. :p Now we have to clip the gate closed.

Here's some pics of goats. You can see more pics of random animals I have on my facebook farm page. It's just a for fun page. Sometimes I'll say animals are for sale, but mostly I just post pictures. https://www.facebook.com/brethilfarm/

Hey, how much are you charging for them?

I'm thinking $50 each.
A steal!!! Nice looking goats - love those little gopher ears. I'm hoping with the minis that the electric netting will work for mobile pens and four foot wire fencing (with a hot wire about a foot up) will be adequate for their permanent pen. They will be sharing space with our Kune Kune girls so it should be an overall good time. My pigs will likely be disgusted that goats poop where they sleep!

I just got electric netting, so I'll let you know how it goes. They've never been in electric before. I have kept guinea hogs in with them before. It was the goats shoving around the pigs at feeding time. The only rule I have is no pigs in when they are close to birth or in milk. I've read horror stories and won't chance it. Other than that, they do just fine together.

Great! I appreciate it :)
Yes, I don't think I'd trust my piggies around a milk source. They are around lots of ducks and chickens (had a couple drakes that liked to sleep on top of "their girlfriends") and they did really well, but they just LOVE milk so I have to agree there. So far, the electric netting keeps the pigs in really well, but they also aren't the type to challenge fencing. Just for funsies, I have attached a couple of Whipple Scrumptious Fudgemallow Delight as a piglet. She is a really neat pig.

They're a fun sort - That turd is about 250 pounds now! Still sweet as can be... Can't wait to have little goats in there with them.
When you get your goats, please post pics!!!

She's a cutie. My newest pigs are kunekune mixes and two were bred, so I have 14 piglets running around.
